Court decision translation
We translate Ukrainian court decisions for use abroad — divorce, child residence, inheritance — and foreign court decisions into Ukrainian. The Ministry of Justice apostille comes before the translation.
Decisions we translate most often
Divorce
For a new marriage abroad, a surname change or any procedure where you must show that a previous marriage has ended. Living in Ireland or the UK? Read how to apostille a divorce court decision from abroad.
Children
Child residence, maintenance, termination of parental rights, permission to travel. Foreign authorities and schools often ask for the court decision itself.
Property and other matters
Inheritance, establishment of facts, corrections to personal data — whenever a Ukrainian court decision has to be shown abroad.
What goes to the apostille
- A copy of the decision issued by the court, with the court seal and a note that it has entered into force. The Ministry of Justice apostilles this copy — 1,200 UAH.
- Apostille first, translation second. We translate the decision together with every note, seal and the apostille.
- Volume. A decision often runs to several pages, so the translation is priced by volume. We give you the exact amount from a photo before you pay.
How it works
A photo is enough for a quote. The apostille and notarization need the original: bring it to our office or send it by Nova Poshta — we return it the same way.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a court decision translation cost?
From 500 UAH per page (1,860 characters) plus 500 UAH for notarization. A Ministry of Justice apostille is 1,200 UAH. We confirm the exact amount from a photo.
Is the apostille placed on the decision or on a copy?
On the copy issued and certified by the court, with a note that the decision has entered into force. A photocopy or a printout from the court register will not be apostilled.
How long does it take?
The translation usually takes 1–2 business days, depending on volume. A Ministry of Justice apostille on a court decision usually takes 2–3 business days.
I have a divorce decision. Do I also need a certificate?
It depends on the country and the authority. A decision with an apostille and a translation is often enough, but sometimes a civil registry document is also requested. Check with the authority — we can help with both.
