Why it gets translated

A pension abroad

To count your years of work in Ukraine, a foreign pension authority asks for the employment record book with a translation. Without it, that work history may simply be lost.

Work and qualifications

Proof of experience for an employer, recognition of professional qualifications, immigration programmes that count years of work.

Part of a document set

Often submitted with a diploma or income statements. We translate the whole set with one spelling of your name and of company names.

What we translate

  • Every completed page: the title page, employment entries, awards and inserts. Blank pages are not charged.
  • Handwritten entries are read carefully. If a word is genuinely illegible, we mark it in the translation instead of guessing.
  • Seals and stamps — with the full company name, even if the company no longer exists.
  • Job titles and company names are translated so that a foreign authority understands them, with the original name in brackets where useful.
Apostille. The employment record book itself is not apostilled. If the authority requires an apostille, we prepare a notarized copy of the book, the Ministry of Justice apostilles the copy (1,200 UAH), and we translate the copy together with the apostille. Work history after 2021 is kept in the electronic register of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. We also translate register statements (forms OK-5 and OK-7) — they are often submitted together with the paper book.

A photo is enough for a quote. Notarization needs the original: bring it to our office or send it by Nova Poshta — we return it the same way.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an employment record book translation cost?

It depends on the number of completed pages and entries. Translation is from 500 UAH per page (1,860 characters), notarization 500 UAH. We confirm the exact amount from photos before you pay.

How long does it take?

Usually 1–2 business days. With many entries or an apostille on a copy it takes longer — we tell you the timeline in advance.

Can an employment record book be apostilled?

Not the book itself. The Ministry of Justice apostille goes on a notarized copy of it, which is then translated together with the apostille.

The entries are handwritten and hard to read. Can you manage?

Yes, handwritten records are routine for us. Anything that truly cannot be read is clearly marked in the translation.

Can I order without coming to Zhytomyr?

Yes. Send photos by Telegram, WhatsApp or email, and the original by Nova Poshta. We send the finished translation back the same way, within Ukraine or abroad.
